Capture
A record begins with the country, operator, product or instruction, direct source URL, source owner, and observation date. Screenshots can preserve transient evidence, but the page retains the originating URL where one exists.
- Record wording and units as published before transforming them.
- Separate general data from restricted or bonus allowances.
- Record eligibility, validity, renewal, and material restrictions.
Normalize without erasing terms
Normalized fields support filtering and arithmetic while the original price, currency, allowance wording, and validity remain available. Derived values must identify their formula and inputs.
Currency conversion, if used, records the rate source and date separately from the operator observation date.
Verify and publish
A reviewer checks the primary source, field transcription, dates, and comparison eligibility. Records that cannot be confirmed are labelled incomplete or withheld from comparative output.
A page update date means the editorial record changed or was reviewed; it is not a promise that the underlying offer will remain available.
