Which source answers which question

Regulator publications are used for market scope and sector statistics. Operator pages are used for prices, bundles, account methods, terms and support instructions.

A news story or third-party list can point towards evidence, but it does not replace an available regulator or operator page for a time-sensitive claim.

  • Market size or operator scope: use the relevant regulator report
  • Price, allowance or validity: use the operator's product or terms page
  • USSD, app or support route: use the operator's help material

What the check date means

The check date records when we reviewed the linked material. It is not a guarantee that an operator has not changed a price or code since then. A direct product, terms or support page is preferred to a homepage.

  • Publisher and page or document title
  • Direct link and check date
  • The claim or content record the source supports
  • Any access limit, age or unresolved ambiguity

Changed or unavailable sources

When a source moves or an offer disappears, the existing citation is not silently repointed to a different claim. The record is reviewed, dated, and either updated, archived, or marked unavailable.
